This wooden birdhouse is handcrafted by the Keathleys. The birdhouse is not stained completely on the inside. This is to keep the house safe for tenants. The stain used is VALSPAR Water Based No Odor Stain, from Lows. You may wish to paint or re-paint every two years or so. A hook and an eye are provided for your convenience. You'll first need to decide if you want to place hanging mechanisms on the roof or back of the birdhouse, depending on your space. Use a 1/8-inch drill bit(only for prepping hook and eye holes) to put them into place on both the birdhouse and mount.
