This small but handy basket is hand woven by Jan Treesh, a local artist skilled in basket weaving. This basket is made from natural reed and accented by hand dyed reeds in various shades of brown. Like her other baskets, this basket is finished off with Danish stain oil in order to preserve the basket, making it beautiful and durable. The basket’s most distinct feature is the small yet sturdy wooden legs that give it its name.
