The exterior is made from luxurious Harris Tweed(R) and Italian leather base and accents. Black Oxford Leather hinged handles have been cut and polished by me. This purse is topped off with a zipper closure and two front exterior pockets, perfect for sunglasses or similar sized items. The interior, 100% cotton by Ruby Star Society, is just striking and as carefully handcrafted with two interior slip pockets, and one interior zipper pocket. Leather accents line the pockets for a little added luxury. A keychain clip and a three slot credit card panel is a thoughtful addition to the interior of this purse. All hardware is beautifully crafted metal that feels good in your hand.  Note on Harris Tweed: Imported from Scotland, Harris Tweed is the only fabric in the world with its own Act of Parliament, and the label on the front of the bag insures it’s the genuine deal. In accordance with the Act, Harris Tweed cloth must be: “Handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.” I am a registered maker with the Harris Tweed Authority, which means all fabric is authentic and sewn according to the Act of Parliament.
