I use my cooling racks from Berea College every day! I have had them for many years and I have them in 4 different sizes. Too bad all the sizes aren't available any more. I have given many of these as gifts over the years and everyone I have given them to loves them.

We use it as place to keep our mail. It's much more than a cooling rack. Just add a little imagination!

My cooling rack arrived on time and carefully packaged. I appreciated the cello wrap to guard against nicks and scratches. It is very sturdy -- no wobble in any of the joined pieces. The color is slightly lighter than pictured; a wonderful neutral that goes with everything. I plan to give it as a wedding gift, paired with a hand thrown pie pan. Thanks, Berea craftspeople!

Description

The Berea College cooling rack is not only a useful item in any baker’s kitchen, but it also marks a point of connection between craftsperson and the public. For many of our students, creating a cooling rack is the first opportunity they will have to practice wood joinery or sit atop a shaving horse. With cherry sides and maple cross pieces, this cooling rack will be a treasured part of your kitchen.
