Designed as a group project with students and staff from Woodcraft and Broomcraft, this cherry dustpan and brush dyed with natural matter exemplifies the beauty of a simple, clean and purposeful design. Height: 14.5", width: 10"
This Dustpan and Broom combination is the result of a joint design exploration with our Woodcraft and Broomcraft students. The whisk is hand built with a mix of Osage Orange and Walnut dyed Broomcorn with all the dye materials gathered in the Berea College forest. The dustpan is steam bent and hand shaped allowing the whisk to nest perfectly inside the pan for display or storage.
The Dustpan is 7.5" by 10.5" and the broom is 9" by 14.5"
