The honeycomb pattern has been hand woven by our student weavers for over 60 years. Treasure a piece of Berea College Craft history with this classic pattern. This set of coasters comes with 6 handcrafted pieces.
Naturally dyed using Osage heartwood or Walnut hulls collected from Berea College’s Forest. This
limited production run was a truly collaborative effort between the Forestry department which
collects the Osage, Woodcraft which processes the logs, Weaving which produces the cloth, and
Broomcraft which dyes the finished product. The Student Craft program has re-introduced to the
natural dye process to celebrate our history while exploring ways to cultivate some of our raw
material closer to home
